United Nations: On Thursday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to discuss the deteriorating situation in Sudan. He stressed the importance of "successful diplomacy" that might bring about an early ceasefire and create the ground situation for the safety and welfare of people.
While meeting with Guterres at the UN headquarters here, Jaishankar also brought up India's G20 chairmanship and the turmoil in Ukraine.
